How to improve the lives of Aborigines

I think the Aborigines should be given the same rights and opportunities as we do and that the government should repay the Aborigines for the damage that has been caused.The government should help the Aborigines more like helping the people who are having problems with drugs should be taken care of, not just igoring them. Aborigines should have the same opportunities as we do like access to health services, schooling and decent shelter. The government has done very little in the past few years and I think it time to change all this.

project evaluation

 Today, we have completed our first project. We are currently reseaching and answering questions about Charles Perkins. I have done most of it, the last part does not make any sense because there are many eroors in the passage. I am currently answering questions about the driving question about the last project.

 I think Stephen, George and I did most of the work. I wrote the preamble, Stephen worte the cover letter and George did a lot of the research. The other memebers didn’t really do much, they were just mucking around and distracting us most of the time.

The difficult thing about working in groups is that the people in the group might be quite bad, they are always distracting everyone and they don’t contribute anything to the group.

• Spread the work evenly throughout the group
• Do all the work on time
• Edit the work over and over again

• Less journals and group meetings
• Work should be explained more

We have almost completed our preamble, now we are just editing the preamble. The rest of the group have done the cover letter and the evidence stuff.

I’m still not sure about the poetry, I might re-do the poetry againg.

The Charles Perkins work doesn’t make any sense, the cloze passage in the end has many spelling mistakes and more.

The preamble is duie this week and the poetry was due last Friday, but I havn’t been able to upload it because I was on a scout hike. Now I have a lot of work to go through. I have no idea about the poem, everyone is telling me different things, I’m not sure where to upload the work and I’m not sure when it is due.

Today, I have just recieved my individual task. I’m a bit confused, but I’ll eventually understand it. We have finished our preamble, hopefully someone in our group did the cover letter. My part of the work is done.

I have completed the preamble draft, we are only short by 100 words which I find is quite good. I have started on the actual preamble, so far it is goin well. 

I was allocated to write up the preamble. My weaknesses is keeping up with all the work and my strength is researching, and thats about it.

My group is quite stuck, not many of us have an idea what we are doing. We have allocated what topics to reasearch about for the preamble. I will be researching about life of the Indigenous Australians before the British colonisation. I will be doing that resaerch by myself.
