The Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatzso is the 14th reincarnation of the Buddha. He is the head of state and the Tibetan people’s spiritual leader. He was born on the 6th of July, 1935, (with his original name Lhamo Dhondrub) to a farming family in the village of Takster in northeast Tibet. He was renamed ‘Jetsun Jamphel Ngawang Lobsang Yeshe Tenzin Gyatso’ meaning Holy Lord. He was recognised to be the reincarnation of the 13th Dalai Lama at the age of two. A group of Tibetans monks were seeking out to find the new Dalai Lama had travelled to the village of Takster because of a vision recieved by one of the regents searching for the new Dalai Lama.

His actions would be regarded as an exemplary moral integrity because of his selfless actions to try and help his people. He said that if the troubles worsen then he would step down from his position as leader. This proves that he is a very noble person, he is willing to give up his position for the well being of many people

Roger’s conscience is telling him to no help save the drowning boy and just keep on moving. This decision was most liekely made by his ‘bad side’ of his conscience.

“To be like salt, like a city on a hill and like a light that would light the way for others. His followers were to be a good influence on others and try to get other people to do the right thing”, is one of Jesus’ teachings.

I believe that this teaching will help people with their decisions, especially decisions on which side of our conscience we should follow.

‘Interactive TV’ refers to people being able to ‘interact’ with the TV. They intercat by adding channels that they enjoy to watch to favourites and being able to watch TV through a broadband connection.

The reason why interactive TV is called TV 2.0 is because this is current and more modern type of television.

Positives of interactive TV: being able to watch TV when you’re out and about , if they have a laptop and a broadband connection they are to watch TV pretty much anywhere and people are able to make your own modifications to suit their likes.

Negatives of interactive TV: If a person’s internet is capped their speed will drop down a lot and may even drop to around dial up speed which wouldn’t allow them to download programs as fast.

Apple TV didn’t enable direct access to iTunes, it had to be accessed using a sepearte device which had access to iTunes to get the content. Now it allows direct access to iTunes and its access to iTunes allows it to stream music and videos directly to the device.

People and companies can upload their own advertisments as digital videos. It’s quite an effective way to advertise their products or services because Youtube is popular and have many users. This way, millions of people can view the video and advertisments. Youtube also have seperate advertisments but youtube will charge a fee for this.

I would go and call the security gurads or the police to deal with the youths. I would do this because I don’t want make the situation any more worse. I don’t want to interfere with anyone because they group of youths may go after me. I am only doing this because I’m following my own conscience.

I would try to suggest something else to do instead of causing a riot. If they did not agree, I’d just leave them. I think its the best option because I don’t thnk its right to start a riot just for entertainment. (more…)
